The Blues have 3 wins from 3 in this group so one more victory takes them into the knock out stages.

What will probably please Ancelloti most is the fact that as of yet Chelsea have not lost a goal in this section.

Top of the epl, 9 wins from 11, i dont think theres is any doubt Chelsea are the team to beat this season in England and on this form they may just be the team to beat in the CL.

They have so much power in that side. Up front Drogba is maybe having his best season ever and Anelka forms a fine partnership. Lampard is scoring goals again but most importantly Deco is back fit and adding that little bit of class to every move.

It was frightening the way Chelsea dealt with both Blackburn and Bolton in recent weeks.

Madrid are having a poor season in the Spanish league- even this early they are out of the title race and probably have no chance of making those CL places. They did lose a couple of important players in the summer but that is no excuse for how far this club have fallen.

To be honest, from what i have seen of them this season, there is a lack of desire. Some of these performances, more so away from home have been a shambles and the goals lost are school boy stuff.

Put a cross in the box and they dont even bother to compete. I am sure John Terry will be looking forward to any set plays.

I know this is still a tough game, in a very intimidating atmosphere, but even so i believe Chelsea will have no problems taking the points.

Drogba should be the main man once again.
