Wozniack recovered from going down 6-0 against Azarenka to make it one win out one in her group. She looked all but out with her lacklustre display in the early stages, but the supporters managed to rally her towards an unprecedented win. The game was incidentally the seventy-fifth of the Dane in 2009. Her mental prowess have taken her the distance and a good showing here will propel her to a much higher ranking than six. Wozniacki have really gained from strength to strength over the last couple years, unlike players such as Ivanovic and Sharapova, who both have been plagued by bothersome injuries.

Zvonevera is a sold player on the WTA Tour but I am afraid her form has some what been pretty low key towards the second half of the season. Although she is ranked ninth nine, recent sluggish showings have been derailed her chance of progressing the step further. Go for the Dane to make it two out of two and I am sure Caroline will be buoyed by yesterday's brilliant comeback against her Belarus opponent. Expect the favourite to win quite comfortably in the first set.
