Over 2.5 goals

Blackburn were hammered at the weekend as Chelsea smashed their wafer thin defence but one thing we know about Big Sams side is that they have the ability and the hunger to fight back after a poor result. They will have to because this is tie the ewood park fans will expect to win with the visitors sitting near the bottom of the championship and looking odds on to go back down.

One thing i have liked about Rovers this season is how quickly they get the ball in the box. Some fans dont like this and feel it should be a passing game but i dont agree- if you can play as much of the game in the opposition half as possible there is more chance of winning.

There has certainly been some good goals scored by Blackburn this season and we seen a fine attacking performance in the recent 3-2 derby victory over Burnely. David Dunn is on a quite outstanding scoring run at the moment and if Posh are to have any chance they will have to keep him quiet.

Posh are struggling. Its a bit unfair on Ferguson as hes starting to take a bit of stick from some media down there. They are in the relegation places but 2 back to back promotions prove he has done a super job there and deserves the chance to put things right.

What i have seen of them though they play too much football. Boyd is a terrific striker and going forward this side always make chances but they dont protect that back 4 well enough and tbh at times their defending in the championship has been woeful.

Im sure Posh can make chances and probably score but id also expect Rovers to give them plenty of problems with the long balls, long throw ins and power they have up front.

Neither team is defending well so this is night for goals.
