Stade to win.

The French side are one of the favs for the HC and we seen just why last weekend as a pretty decent and stuffy Edinburgh side were totally blown off the park in the 1st half. The Scots couldnt handle the power game or the short passing around the rucks and really they were lucky Stade took the foot of the gas in the second half otherwise the score would have been embarrassing.

Bath had so many problems in the summer with players being banned and some moving on. Its not been the best start to the season in the premiership either with some disappointing performances. It is true that theres plenty of quality in the squad, Hape is class, but there does not seem the same level of togetherness as last season and they are struggling to score trys.

This one is sure to be quite tight and low scoring. But if anyone is going to sneak it then i would go with the French. They have a bit more class in the danger zone and a bit more guile at set plays. It may take penalties to decide it but i expect Stade to have a fair bit more of the play and more chances to kick those vital penalties.
