Irish are playing some fantastic rugby at the moment, id say they are possibly the best side to watch in europe at the moment. So much pace, so much power and some beautiful set plays. They came so close to the premiership last season, losing in the final, it was some turnaround from a side most didnt even expect to come top 6.

Lanelli have made a decent start in the ML. Im not so sure they have enough to compete at this level though and we seen that last season as their european campaign was a complete disaster. They took some real hammerings on the road and were paper thin in defence.

Both these sides like to play, they are not anti rugby sides or negative teams. It is 2 coaches who love the game and will always try to use the backs and the width of the pitch rather than just kick for distance. Ofcourse that means there is much more chance of losing trys or making mistakes which is often what happens.

Scarlets have the speed to score points here but Irish have more power in the forwards and out wide. That should make this the tie of the weekend in terms of open rugby and point scoring.
