Tottenham travel to the south coast to take on Pompey in a game which will be a return of several key players back to Portsmouth including manager Redknapp, Crouch, Defoe and Krancjar.

Tottenham struggled last time around with a draw against Bolton at the Reebok stadium. But a key element was the absence of Jermain Defoe. The top goal scorer and been injured on their previous outing and now has recovered to take his place in the starting lineup alongside Robbie Keane.

Krancjar and King are now fit and should be available in the starting lineup, but the midfield enforcer Palacios may miss this game due to his late arrival from the international break.

Tottenham are now lying in 3rd place looking to build on their early season momentum especially to early problems faced by people like Liverpool. The midfield of Huddlestone and Palacios have helped stabilised the centre of the park and with Lennon flying around on the right wing, things will be highly difficult for the Pompey wingers in this fixture.
