Manchester City vs Bolton

Of all this weekends premiership games this looks the best value for an under 2.5 goals bet. Obviously City are having a fantastic season and Swen has proved many wrong with some super signings and more importantly some excellent results. But they are not a high scoring side and much of their success is down to a very tight defence. If we take out the hammering at Chelsea, well these things can happen, where they lost 6 goals, they have lost only 11 in the other 15 games. For a team near the top they only average just over a goal a game, with 20 so far. Bolton were in right shambles before Megson arrived, losing far too many goals and unable to defend simple cross balls. Hes given them a bit of confidence and sorted that out and although they are far from out of the relegation scrap, after hammering Wigan, they moved up to 14th. But apart from last weekend, where the faced what is surely the worst defence in the league, they are not scoring goals. They have yet to win away from home and have only managed a pathetic total of 4 goals on the road so far. Dont expect this to be a classic, 1 goal should probably be enough for City.
