Everton vs Stoke

Everton are at home at Goodison as they entertain the very irritating and pessimistic Stoke City team who like to keep all teams under bay, and wisely hit back on the counter attack by playing a 4-5-1. However, for them today they face an Everton team that plays also a 4-5-1 with striker Louis Saha in top form sitting at the top in great form having scored 5 goals already. With support from players like Cahill, Pienaar and Fellaini supporting behind him, things should be looking more positive for Moyes' especially after their mid-week heroics in the Europa League. Johnny Heitinga should slip in the centre of the defence as Joseph Yobo will probably miss out on injury, and expect a good impact from Yakubu, who Moyes' indicated is coming up to full fitness and starting to look like his old self. Stoke have shown great resilience against Manchester United last week, but their inability to hold teams down for the full 90 minutes, would be the primary reason of their undoing. They will not have striker Ricardo Fuller today and will have to replace him with semi-fit James Beattie up front, and no telling which Beattie will turn up for Stoke today.
